The record industry had it’s worst sales week ever last week (5/31-6/6) as Billboard posted the sales of just 4,984,000 discs . . . that’s including every artist from every form of music period.

Oakland’s ALL SHALL PERISH have changed up their lineup. Founding drummer Matt Kuykendall has departed and was replaced by Adam Pierce while guitarist Jason Richardson, who left to join BORN OF OSIRUS, is being replaced by Francesco Artusato.
Did you know that EXODUS bassist Jack Gibson is a damn good banjo player ? ? Me neither but he and EXODUS drummer Tom Hunting have a country/bluegrass band called COFFIN HUNTER and they’re currently recording a full-length release so be on the lookout for that later this year.
and finally . . . BREEZE OF THE DYING is a Saudi Arabian heavy metal band that did a reality show on M-Tv. Now that the show has aired, they’ve been charged with “openly declaring sin” by an Islamic sharia and are facing a world of shit just for playing metal music. They’re currently in hiding. . . . which usually isn’t too much fun.
