About the Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run
This motorcycle run was put into place to support troops and their families that have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. A 2 million dollar war memorial was erected in the town of Marseilles, IL with the names of every service man and woman that gave their lives for our freedoms. The bike run is held the 3rd Saturday of June and has had as many as 53,000 motorcycles in its procession. The run starts at Chicagoland Motor Speedway in Joliet and travels 62 miles west to the town or Marseilles where a ceremony and musical tribute plays into the night. This is a GREAT event!
